More and more people are turning to soy candles these days, but ever wonder if this is another fad, or if there's an actual benefit to it? We did our research and have found why people soy is the new candle of choice:

1. Little to no harmful emissions: Regular paraffin candles are made from petroleum - the same chemical compound we use to fill our cars. When you light a candle, the petroleum of the candle gives off carbon monoxide. Studies have shown that paraffin candles produce the same amount of carbon monoxide emissions as the average vehicle, while 100% soy candles produce 0 emissions.

2. Longer lasting: Did you know, on average, soy candles last 30-40% longer than regular candles. If you aren't sold buying them because they look good and have no emissions, but them because they will save you money.  

3. It burns evenly: Because of the lower melting point of the soy wax, your candle will burn evenly. If your candle does not burn evenly, you will experience tunneling, and it will not only become difficult to light, but it will drown out from the wax melting on top of the flame.
